Yarra

given me an affordable PC support package that has assisted my business
in
maintaining its computers that are critical to our service provision.
The staff
are professional and friendly and have assisted my staff to ensure that
their
pcs are in good working order. They are always available when I need
them, and
have extensive computer knowledge. I highly recommend them to any small
business on a tight budget. They are able to deliver a professional
support
service and I know that by using Yarra Assist I am also contributing to
the
employment of local people in my community. I am able to contact them
when I
have any pc query and I value their honesty and integrity in responding
promptly and giving me the information I am after.
I
have come from
overseas. The computers helped me to reconnect with family and friends
as well
as access news from my home country. It has made me feel more connected
to home
as well as to my new home here in Australia. I feel extremely lucky to
be able
to live on an estate that has been fortunate to have such a wonderful
program
that provides low-income people like myself with access to a computer
in my
home, as well as providing affordable access to the Internet.
With
a computer in
my home I have gained valuable skills that relate to the use of digital
technology. I now know how computers work, and how to use a variety of
software
to develop resumes and apply for a job. These skills have given me the
opportunity to feel confident when using the Internet and to seek out
information online. I have also been using the Internet to look for
work. This
has resulted in my current employment.
